CD, and then take time to browse around the other pages. I'm a first time author, looking for ways to promote my recently
published novel, The Green Plaid Jacket. I'm convinced this inspiring story has movie potential, especially
now that I have the sequel in manuscript form. My journey as an author began in earnest the night I saw my hand
writing the words "The Green Plaid Jacket" in a dream. I knew that would be the title of my first novel.
It's been an amazing, frustrating, thrilling, aggravating, rewarding, and satisfying series of experiences that I wouldn't
trade for anything. I'm encouraged by reviews that validate my writing ability, and I feel strengthened in my intention
to attract an agent who will represent my work to the movie industry. I've also completed two children's
books and am working to find an artist who is interested in illustrating them. I want to thank
all who participated in my launch campaign. It was a great experience for me, and your support helped me get to #56
in the category of "Literature & Fiction". Not bad when Amazon.com offers over 2 million books!
So far I've traveled to book clubs in Arkansas, Wisconsin, Kansas and Texas to meet some of the people who are reading my
book. I appreciate every word of encouragement and am especially grateful when you recommend my book to your friends
